Can't wait to see the build Paul! We bought a TE 4RNR for my wife in 2010 and I love the vehicle, I can't wait until she gets tired of it so I can take it.

Excited to see the build Paul! It may not have as much "history" as a LC, but that just gives you the chance to make some history! Will you be bringing it out to the Overland Rally in WA this year?

Just received my 2013 4runner TE in Shoreline Blue Pearl. I have a Shrockworks front bumper and Budbuilt sliders ordered. Just got my OME suspension and now I need tires. I will wait for everything to arrive before installing the goodies. I can't wait till the K-9 rack feet are ready!! Thanks for the advice Paul!

the thing about "overlanding" is you really want something reliable, unlike a Rover product..

as far as your limited knowledge, I have included a link to help you understand how foolish your inane comment was.

You must have saved that link from when someone sent it to you. Fits you perfectly since only you have resorted to teenage name calling. As for your grenade comment about reliability, sure, call out the brand that invented and perfected " Overlanding" smooth move. BTW I've owned four LC's and have found the 10 or so Rovers i've owned to be more reliable, less costly, and more capable.
But this isn't a Rover V Toy thread it's about Equipts build. So back to it.
I look forward to seeing what Paul does to make this 4Runner unique and exciting.

DiscoTDI, many 18 yo chicks and frat boys drive those very Range Rovers that expeditiously crossed Darien Gap, too. Doesn't mean much. Not sure how many Land Rovers are sold new to buyers that actually use those vehicles as they were originally intended (in North America). Most new, pretty, blinged LRs and RRs that I see are all too often driven by daughters, milfs, frat boys, frat boys dads or someone that strictly have a LR/RR simply because they're expensive.

I'm a frat dude (was) and three of my frat "bros" had Discos and only one of my frat bros had a 4runner....so, there.

Also, the chicks that I was running with all had Jettas and bmws...ok, so one had a Runner but she was bangin.

Don't be bro, bro.

I'm wondering if Paul should start a new thread about building out his 4runner so this thread could become the "why everyone should pick the vehicle they like" thread.

Hopefully we haven't scared Paul away.
