Any issue with those 35"s? Rub on frame or body? How is the driving on stock gears? I am looking for a new set of tires and thinking of 35"s but don't want to get into rubbing issue with body or frame.

I rub a little on the inner rear fender when flexed out. For regular driving on streets and trails i have no issues. I have a 2' body lift. You will rub if you dont have a lift.
Gearing is doable but not ideal. Im on a look out for some 4.9s.

thats an awesome price. Why were you replacing it? Was it no longer putting out heat?

it was slowly leaking over past few months, until around December the core decided to blow and flood the interior with coolant. ( still flooded).
So I had it bypassed, but still didnt really drive the car anywhere. It gets way to cold at nights to drive around with no heat.

I want to do snow snow wheeling this season.

So I stopped by the shop today to see how the montero is doing. Mechanic took out the heater core. I most likely will be welding it up than buying a new one.

He ended up not taking out the blower assembly. The core just kind of came out from the top. Either way Im glad Im not involved with this.

One thing he did show me was that there was an open outlet where the harness runs through. Apparently the rubber seal wasn't in its place which I assume is because of the body lift. So I had a bunch of dirt and mud under the center console. Will have to address that upon assembly.

Something to keep in mind for those that did or are planning to do a bodylift.
