I would have just flip one of them 2 foot drop receivers I see on lifted F250 all the time. This guy really wasted a lot of time, and destroyed one of the best trucks ever made. :Wow1: :xxrotflma

But the sad part is the RV dealer setting up the Honda Ridgeline to tow the 26' travel trailer, the Toyota Tacoma to pull the same, never mind the ZR2 with the 31' "lightweight" trailer that killed 2 people just north of town last year when the driver lost control. I had a guy with a brand new 3/4 ton Duramax painted to match his Newmar Mountain Aire 5th wheel (with 4200 pounds tongue weight, designed to be pulled by a medium duty truck) pull up to my shop to get air bags installed, I kindly told him to go to the Navistar dealer and get the appropriate 4300 series air bag bracket (the truck itself) and got verbally abused for refusing to put air bags on his Chevy! These are things that I have seen with my own eyes in the last year, this guy is no different. He is just using old junk instead of new.

I don't mean to sound like a stick in the mud but, 5th wheel or not, I don't think you should tow without safety chains. Just my opinion. :shakin:

Are those the new 10,000 lb. breaking strength zip ties holding the "safety" chains together? I've never seen them in use before.

May we assume that the photo was taken as a joke, since it would be impossible to turn a corner without shearing off the roof of the truck?
