Thanks for all the great ideas everyone. I finally ended up trading to a true outdoorsman/climber/river running chap who seemed thrilled to have it. We traded for a very safe Subaru Forester that should work well for the family.

I just purchased the Fuso this weekend. Unfortunately is was gutted at some point the entire 12v system was removed from the camper so tha'ts I project Ill be doing soon.

Nnnoooooooooooo.... would have loved to get in on this. Since you have experienced what I'm looking to do, how exactly was the camper mounted to the truck, was it a flat bed, box truck, etc? Or link to a build discussing mounting directly to a flatbed?
