Expedition One Rear Bumper

Would you like me to post them here? I provided them to Mastercard, it's kind of tacky but I can post them here if you feel like that's best. You sent me an email which I responded to...and then nothing back from you. Just like the other guy.

It's kind of odd, your email stated you wanted to move on from this but here you are calling me out.

Sorry about that Ian, I just sent you an email back. For some reason it went straight to spam, that's not your fault and its fixed now so everything will come straight to my inbox.

As far as the restocking fee, yes on normal orders there is a 2% restocking fee. Yours was a custom order which has a different restocking fee for very obvious reasons. It's very hard to sell an order that is custom to just anyone.

I don't want to be tacky and spread emails back and forth across a forum, I hope we can resolve this and come to a result that is great for all of us.

I did not place a custom order.

Can you send the email threads to me?

I sent you an email back, and I am waiting to figure this out.

That bumper again is not and was not available in our store for purchase, it should have been very clear that it was a considered a custom order, if it was not then we have found where things went wrong. Again if I could get the email threads this would be much easier for me to research and get a solution.

I purchased a Ram front bumper with AEV width outers, the drop down options are on your site right now. I even called before placing the order to make sure it wasn't a custom order. I included in the notes it was for a Power Wagon but was told the Power Wagon was just a standard integrated winch bumper.

At this point I'd rather just do this publicly.

I appreciate you sharing this with us, this particular part of your response helps me greatly.
As you are giving me more information I can see where miscommunications and confusion may have occurred.

Just so you know now, the Power Wagon bumper is different from the RAM bumper we have on the site currently, that should have been communicated. Your Power Wagon bumper was the first one designed and produced in our shop. I have attached pictures so you can see the differences between the two. If that communication wasn't clear we apologize.

I cannot change the past, I can make sure that this information is communicated clearly in the future.

We have changed the way we handle orders, and the communication thereof.

Your frustration makes a lot more sense now then it did before with the limited information I had. I still would really like to have those email threads so I can address them. My email is sales@expeditionone.biz, I replied to your email as well so you should have it twice now.

I would have never ordered a custom bumper. Ever! The only reason I was willing to buy something out of stock was because I had consumer protection with my credit card. I have never seen a custom bumper order go right and I've been at this a long time. Just look at how this thread started. I'm not at all surprised my order is now being called a custom order, it's very convenient.

I'm not particularly interested in spending time on this issue in private with you after all the **************** that's taken place. I don't appreciate getting called a liar. If you really want to get to the bottom of why Expedition One is such a mess maybe you should take the deep dive on your own. If you want to make good then start talking, otherwise kick a rock.

The email threads I am requesting would help me get something resolved for you. I don't need any other correspondence from here on out in private if you don't want it, we can talk here.

For me? You must be confused, Master Card made me whole.

I am trying to put this to a close. I need assistance from the customers affected by these issues to help.

I am not interested in arguing anything more at this point, I am here to fix it.

I need some support here to help Expedition One improve.

If you could help, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, I do not know what else we can possibly do.

An update to everyone on the Dual Swing Rear Bumper that started this thread.

We have updated our QA and now have a system in place to catch powder coating issues before shipment.
We have implemented a change to our Confirmation Emails that specifically outlines the 30 day workmanship warranty for Powder Coating (That way you know, if its flaking out of the box to contact us)
We are exploring a plug and play OPTION for our license plate LED's, we are working out details to make sure we can offer something that works for everyone involved.
We are exploring adding spacers for the plate itself for those that do not want to remove the non essential bolts from the plate mount.

Thank you all for the feedback you have provided, it is going to help us greatly in future designs.

We look forward to providing a rock solid product to you all.

Then why are you complaining?

The guy is asking for information from you so he can figure out the breakdown in communication. You don't want to provide it. Okay, so you have your money back and you don't want to provide the info he is seeking. What else are you expecting from Expedition One at this point?

1. The bumper wasn't made. I called multiple times and Roger told me it hadn't even been started.
2. I responded to every email Expedition One has ever sent me. I maintain my spam filter and I know I received it all.
3. I called and left Roger multiple messages. I know he received them because he emailed me instead of calling me back.
4. I emailed Roger multiple times and he never responded. I'd have to go back and check but I don't think I ever received a single email response to one of my responses.
5. Expedition One never attempted to call me, ever. I had to call and leave angry messages with the receptionist to even get the one email response from Roger.
6. After receiving the cancellation request suddenly the bumper was in production.
7. Expedition One's stated cancellation policy emailed to me at the time of order does not match their 'generous' offer of a 3% "restock" charge on a bumper that wasn't in production when I cancelled. I cut and pasted the Terms and Conditions into this thread for anyone to see, I also have hard copies.
8. I cancelled after Expedition One exceeded their stated delivery time and stopped responding to communication. I cancelled in writing and also over the phone.

Here is the CC response to my chargeback. It is entirely, and demonstrably, false.

I've never seen that PW bumper before. It's not on the Expedition One site where I placed my order.
