"Oh Hey There!" Food Storage
National Luna fridges rock, I have had mine for a few weeks now.

I watched the previous attempt a couple weeks ago on youtube.....they onyl made it 40miles out of 120miles......

do they actually make it all the way in the upcoming series?

The previous attempt was a very good look at them realising things like, extra items they needed, things they needed to be more prepared to attempt to go further....the driving was tough, as was the clearing of the trees and scrub.

I wonder how much more room they had for the extra's needed for such a gruelling attempt? Cant wait.

Only time will tell :D

Nice to see more videos coming.
I believe they are going to be doing one too on fridge wiring pretty soon.
Getting my rig rewired with probably 8 gauge amp wire dedicated from the aux battery with a 15 amp fuse back to the rear plug I installed for my National Luna Weekender 50 fridge I installed a few weeks back.

"Do you want some more?"
OK, what quote is the above line from, what movie?
I personally have seen it a gazillion times, one of my favorite Sci-Fi flicks.

More just came in...

Thanks for posting those Corey!
You are welcome.
I really dug that power management one, but my needs are a lot less than theirs, but it was cool seeing all that stuff in the Goose Gear box.
I wish Goose had a box that would fit the FJ with the new fridge I bought, but you need more length in the back, so only the Engel fridge would work with the box that holds a fridge and the stove slide out.
I started a new ExPo thread for the 2016 Mackenzie Trail, check it out:

Cool, will subscribe to it.

Will you be putting a new season in that thread too, or this one, or is this one getting a little too big to put another season into after the short four part Mackenzie one?

I'll likely keep the 2016 updates in the new thread, I figured there may be readers skipping this one as the title is 2015? We can always post them in both places too.

"Oh Hey There!" Cooking Stoves

Personally I use a Camp Chef Denali which is no longer made, but it suits me fine.
I am also partial to Piezo starters on a stove, no need to mess with matches or a lighter.

I also like this one that Christophe from the forum here reviewed from Primus called the Tupike.
http://expeditionportal.com/field-tested-primus-tupike-2-burner-stove/

Found a video of it from Primus on YouTube, and I like it, but the burners seem to be a lot lower output than my Camp Chef.

A couple of fresh ones.
