That old generator just couldn't keep up (lights on, wipers, and heater) so... I did converted it to an alternator.

Some dash gauge upgrades and another panel added for the accessory lights up front and for the rear work/back-up light.

Speaking of dash... I just flipped the speedometer! WOOT WOOT ! How many times has he flipped? Not sure. How many continents, countries, states, and towns has he seen? Not sure about that either, but after 45+ years of being on/off road... he's still here... and I'm going to do right by him while he's under my care. Lord knows he'll outlive me!

Yes, it was in pretty bad shape, but is now back to full-time ute work and daily driving duties. It's a nice old wagon... deserves to be kept up and used.

More recent... the rear driveline had developed play in the slip-joint and one of the u-joints had started to go so... I had Bill at GBR make up a 3" (and yes... there's enough room in that crossmember for it on my rig) driveline with beefy spicer u's and slip. You can see the visible differences in a stock (black) Rover driveline and a GBR (green) driveline.

I hope that old This-Bone-Connected-To-That-Bone doesn't apply though... that'd be the t-case next!
