Yes - The big update is still coming.

Included will be:

  • 3-Link Solid Axle Conversion using a Dynatrac Pro-Rock 60 With all the goodies and an ARB locker
  • Aux fuel tank, and transfer pump
  • More electronic updates
  • Onboard Welder
  • Onboard water tank
  • Rear glass elimination project - really excited about this one!
  • Solar/Wind power

Keep an eye on the thread!

Seriously?!?! Solar/Wind Power? I'm wondering how many "Average American Homes" your X could power already :D

All kidding aside your X is sick!

That would be one heck of a backcountry SAR rig. I am sometimes wishing I had an SUV vs. a P/U.

This is one of my favorite builds on ExPo. Thanks for the great pics...I've found myself staring at my desktop over and over again drooling :D

Hey,
Any updates?
Interested in the shore power issue, what entry point are you using?

I am looking at 12 and 120 being in the truck and wanted to see what option you install. I find plenty of weatherproof devices - Hubbell, Charles, but I can't figure out where is the 'best' location to make a cut.

I agree with the statement previously made, that pics of your X are basically X porn for the rest of our rigs... Very well though out build!

On with the updates!!

Decided to poke around over here since I'm mainly in the Land Cruiser and trailer section. Very glad I did. Extremely impressive build. Attention to detail is outstanding. Curious to hear about the SAS and how you like the feel compared to the IFS while running around the desert.

Again. Seriously fantastic work. Well thought out and very functional.

That's a nice rig. Good job.

I happen to have the same, er, 'base' model...

A few less extras though.

And of course, the Eezi-Awn roof tent.

This shot shows the start of the rear cargo design. Engel fridge, pelicans with spare parts /gear. Powertank 10LBS C02 tank. And the Skid-Row rear swingaway tire carrier.

The next part of the rear cargo design is the stove mounting/natural gas.

I know this is a bit random, but what size is your Engel fridge? I'm trying to get a feel for the size.

Just wanted to let you know that I have been searching and searching and trying to decide what my future off-road/camping/exploring rig was going to be and told myself that tonight was the night that I make a decision. Well low and behold I came across your build and am now sold. I will be searching for an X when I get back from my deployment and most likely hitting you up for more info. I apologize in advance.

Great build, great rig and awesome pics. Will be watching from here on out.
