I hope to get to Maine someday. Thanks for the pics.
Maine is a beautiful state. We lived in Colorado Springs for 2 years and wheeled all over the state. Loved it out there. May go back one day. The mountains up here arent as big but they are just as beautiful and we have more greenery here. If u ever head this way let us know. Id be happy to show u around. And u r welcome.

If my wife and I ever get there we will but we probably will be relegated to where we are as we are too poor to get very far from where we live but we enjoy seeing your beautiful pictures. Thanks for the offer though.

We were up in the Bingham area on the Plum Creek logging land off rte 16. Most of the trails we did were up between Austin Pond and Bald mountain. There are so many other trails to explore that we are hoping to hit them all throughout the summer. And thanks for fixing my photos.

Nice. Is there any use fee for the area? Haven't been around there yet. Looks like a great trip, that waterfall is a cool find. Thanks for posting, always enjoy pics and hearing of adventures from/in the NMW.

There is no fee. Its just like using plum creek land. We are goin back up there in 2 weeks. Will continue to update.

My 2 boys and I spent the weekend further north up near Jackman and Moose River camping, fishing and exploring trails. Since I hadn't been up there in 25 yrs we decided to go.

Thanks for posting those pics up. I have some fond memories chasing big, tasty critters that needed a dinner plate to sit on around the Jackman and Moose river areas, but haven't been back up in those parts in a coon's age. That area also has some great water to spend a day floating a canoe or 'yak on. Please continue sharing your adventures in the Maine woods as the year(s) pass along.
