Nice 100 Josh. Rare to see an Aussie without a diesel on here. Makes me feel less jealous! You on LCOOL too? What part of Oz are you in? Not FNQ or Coober Pedy by the looks of things...

Thanks mate. No I am from Victoria bit colder down the bottom of Aus. The turbo's were out of my budget I had a 12HT powered 60 previous to this but the V8 is nice to drive and sounds awesome. I haven't joined up to LCOOL yet.

J-man, I estimate you are carrying a bit under a ton on your roof rack with the drywall. Is that the Outback Roof Rack you list in favorite mods? Not a good idea but impressive none the less. How far did you go with that load?

Bought the rig on a Tuesday, Wednesday started a 1300 mile trip through southern B.C. from the Okanagan through the mountains to Whistler. More than happy with LX. It saw a lot of highway as well as rocky tracks, snow and mud. Only complaint I have is the tires, which will be remedied soon.

This budget Cruiser has been a labor of love. It was a one owner, which sounds great until you learn the one owner smoked like a chimney. It was ridiculously inexpensive but does have some rocker panel rust. To date I have done the following 'catch up maintenance':
- Replaced ball joints
- Replaced steering rack
- Replaced front and rear sway bar links/bushings
- Replaced fan bracket, idler, serpentine belt and tensioner
- Replaced one ignition coil
- Replaced heater hose tees
- Replaced tires
- Replaced shocks
- Repacked wheel bearings

The only 'mods' I have been able to afford have been the removal of the running boards, a new radio, added cabin filters and installed a Midland CB. I've scrubbed every piece of interior twice and the stench of cigarettes is finally starting to leave :)

10ga

Observer
I sold my 80 a few weeks ago that I spent last year building and decided to go back to a 100 series. This one arrived last week from Arizona and it has just about everything I would ever want in a cruiser. I've got a few things to do but for the most part, it's already built.

1. Year, model, color, etc: 1999, white.
2. Name of owner/screen name: John / 10ga
3. How long have you owned your 100 series? 1 week as of today.
4. Mileage at date of purchase and present mileage: 98,500 miles / 100,300 ( PO drove it from Arizona to east Tennesse )
5. Your favorite mods... If any: It's loaded but I'm happy it has front, rear and center diff. lockers, 45 gallon sub tank, dual batteries, 4.88 gears, ARB frig, Warn winch, just bought a HEO awning, plan on putting some new 35" tires on as soon as I find a deal. Also bought a new set of White Knuckle sliders that I'm putting on this week.
6. How your 100 is used... Weekend rig for trail riding, also planning on taking some trips out west at the end of the year, hopefully will make Cruise Moab next year.
7. Your 3 favorite photos: Just have one so far, I took it to the paint shop the day after I bought it to get the bumpers painted back black.
8. Link to your build thread: This is a build thread from the original owner. The only thing left off the list was the 4.88 gears and front ARB air locker. I feel very blessed and fortunate to own this rig. From talking to some people that know the original owner, he's a genius. He designed the first diff drop kit for a 100 series that was used on this rig. http://www.expeditionswest.com/vehicles/adventurepartners/Doron/doron100.html
