Here's a thread I started a while back but it didn't get much traction. I think this would be an awesome idea. F/E250 Sportsmobile?

Yeah I definitely thought about that. In the end I realized that I can already sleep inside, and I could add a 270 awning and get all the living space I need. The cash for the conversion seemed not worth it. (meaning im too poor to afford it lol)

Spent some time taking photos of the solar panel this afternoon, and couldnt help but change my perspective with this shot.

Sorry, this was the longest a diesel truck thread had gone, in the history of the internet, without someone arguing about towing ratings, how their brand of diesel is better, or torque figures. The world would have started spinning backwards without the above comment.

Looking great Chris.

If I could chime in, I was pretty happy with my ARB 2.0-inch (leveling) kit, but by no fault of their own, I've decided to go a bit bigger, potentially with a 4.5-inch kit.

My reasoning is that no one bothers to correct the geometry on a 2.0 inch kit—putting everything "two inches" out of whack. I can get a 3-4-inch kit that corrects everything, bringing it back to stock, in theory. Sure it's a bit higher but these trucks can handle it. Don't be afraid to break the overland mold and go a bit bigger than usual. You'll need it, these trucks are terrible in technical terrain.

I also want some of them blingy shocks because I live in the PHX valley.

They're not that bad off road! I took my stock excursion on many technical trails and it killed it...for being stock.

Nice truck. Super aggressive stance. Nobody on expo cares about someones torque or tow rating. Its a plus, yes, but unnecessary in this hobby.

That is 2 beach cruisers, two kids bikes, my 450, and a bunch of crap inside that a family of five might find useful.

Yeah I think that the ARB kit is perfect for this generation of vehicle. I don't know too much about yours, but im sure they didnt put anything out of reasonable tolerances

Mine did great off-road with stock height and taller tires. Theyre surprisingly capable and you really dont need much to get out there. Also towing and torque are definitely factors to consider, but no one here really cares as you said. Thats mainly argued about at the bro-dozer forums im sure.

I figured it out after knocking one to many unloading beers into the dirt. I used to set them in the same spot without the cup holder.
