I see you have a fold down "fire truck step". Very cool, I've used those on trucks. Does that panel of the trailer flex at all when standing on it? Or are there multiple layers of AL plate in the corner? I've got a M1101 as well, and I hadn't thought of putting a step right there, but it certainly would be useful.

I added it on the double layer so it's VERY firm in that location. And yes, it is useful.

Spent the day getting the steps mounted, as well as the rear tail lights, and a small wiring repair. I have a NOS wiring harness for this trailer already, but this one is still perfectly fine, so I'd rather use up as much of its life as possible before swapping in the new one. I've also gotten the trailer up on stands and getting it ready for the under body clean and sand, before I hit it with 3M black rubberized undercoating. And the last thing I did was pre-cut the rest of the L Track that I'll be putting on the front and rear. I've changed up the locations of some things to suit us better, and want to have the flexibility to change it easier in the future.

Got the white all taped up and plastic wrapped today. It was still wet when I took this picture, but the roof is now bedlined. My wife jumped up and taped off the AC unit for me. Should have zero issues in the future with the roof. Also taped up the entire lower areas and I will be sanding, rust converting anything I see, and repainting black all the under side. I also have 3M undercoating for the wheel wells. Picked up the freshly powder coated wheels and added new 37x13.50R17 TOYO MT's like on the truck, with a new set of center caps. The last thing I got in today is some Baja Designs dome lights in amber that we will be using under the awnings on both sides as push on/off lighting.

Short day today due to afternoon obligations, but the bottom is all sanded and painted, the last LED lights wired in, the wheel wells are undercoated, and the new tires on the freshly coated wheels are on. Hopefully tomorrow I can start putting up the awning plates and get the awnings on. 🤞

Edit: I almost forgot.... I also added the data and shipping plates back on, as well as added a rubber anti-slip to the ledge where I will be stepping up for roof access.

Slowly chipping away at the details. That trim filler to cover the screws on the rear hatch doors is a REAL PITA to put in, but it's done now. Added my flags, and then added the awning brackets, which will also be the mounts for the upper 1515 8020. I'm very ready to get onto the solar part of the project.

Started getting the 1515/8020 extrusion up for the solar. Also mounted the rear ARB awning which will be the changing room off the back step. Had to stop because I'm out of bolts, and needed a different bracket for the panels themselves. I'll still be flush mounting the panels, but want to drop them down a slight bit more than originally planned. About 3/8" vs an 1/8".

Got some L-Track up front. In and fully mounted, as well as the powder coated NOS jerry can holder. The center two will be for the mount that will hold my spare tire. And the side two will be there to mount and switch around accessories as we need depending on the use case for that trip. I want to have it setup in modules basically that I can mount front or back, with common spacing.

Getting closer. Most of the solar is now up, doing tie ins tomorrow hopefully to the Redarc BCDC. Then at least that part will be done mostly. Ill do the final 300 watt panel later with the locking drawer slide, but i have the brackets for it mounted and ready. Will be 700watts stowed, and 1000 watts when extended. I've also started on the spare tire mount, getting the offset correct, and starting to build and drill all the brackets for it to affix to the L-Track up front.
