Not a whole lot. We are in the process of moving so I'm trying to get as much done as possible before it goes to storage for a few months. I have been working on it but mostly trying to design a lift system for the RTT. I have the rack built and the gas struts installed but like others have done I ordered struts that were overkill. I figured with the weight of the tent and rack 75lb struts would do the trick but I'm unable to pull the tent back down. I have 50lb struts arriving today so we'll see.

I've been sub'd to this for a while now. Curious how your rack is working out can you post more info about it.

Got it all packed up for storage. We are moving in a few weeks and I'm having a 30x40 shop built at the new place. The Sequoia is not squatting because of the trailer.

Where did you order your struts from?

The struts came from McMaster Carr. I ended up putting a 75lb in opposite corners with the 50lb in the other 2. I forgot to take a vid of how everything works.

I know it’s a two year old thread, but do you have any completed pics of the build? The initial work looked great!
