Fg637 crew cab mount options

Hi guys, ive just sheared the rear passengers cab sheet metal. Are there any better options than the original mounts

Hi again

I'm investigating replacing the standard cab mounts with airbags, new FUSO mounts are approx $200AU each. Anyone out there on ExPo land tried this.

havent tried it, but very interested to see how you go.
Because the 637 doesnt have the ability to tilt, kinda gave up on ever cushioning the ride and now have too many cables and lines running between the two that would restrict any movement

Hey mate,

As you probably guessed, you aren't the first guy to have this happen. The problem with the rear of the crewcab is the same as the front mounts of a camper mounted to a Canter.....there is just so much movement in that area. Spring mounts that pull the cab down on to the chassis would be a worthwhile mod......as long as the chassis can seperate away from the cab under extreme articulation offroad. IMO it's the lack of movement in the original setup more than the sheetmetal design that's the culprit in your case. Good luck.
