Finally snagged an M101CDN2: (a modest build up)

As shown in my signature, I decide I needed something faster than the Pajevo, so I got a 70 series. :ROFLMAO: LOL. That's funny, right. Definitely not faster. I just needed a project, and I wanted something I could bang around a bit.

Ironically though, my tow vehicle is now a 24volt rig, and my M101CDN2 is going to need to be converted BACK to 24 volts! I'm hoping to find some LED's that will be happy to do double duty, for times when I want to tow this little trailer with one of the 12v Landcruisers... More to come on this.

Meanwhile, I was so busy with my new project, that the trailer didn't get out camping since Thanksgiving in the fall.

Hopefully that'll change soon.

Getting ready to dive into the trailer again. Need to figure out how to go back to 24 volts. Planning to get out for a night next weekend with "new" truck and trailer in tow. But I have some work to do first, on both... updates to come.

Well, it's been a while, and things have made a dramatic change in my garage. I did switch the bulbs back to 24v and then got this rig out camping a bunch of times. Here's the proof... (look closely)

And again here...

Pulled really nicely on the road. BUT... my new tow rig isn't exactly built for speed. And it has a longer roofline...

So, ultimately, I sold the trailer to a good buddy, the RTT to his neighbour, and started over, with a wedge style hardtop tent on my 70 Series.

Which I guess closes another thread. I think I need to stop doing that. ;)
