first jeep: the beginning of a JK build

well I got some new lighting on the jeep in the form of a 10" Rigid industries E series LED light bar. the distance isn't quite was i hoping for but definitely is still impressive. the light is amazingly well built. and came with an idiot proof wiring kit.

well we had some storms come through lately so i went out and took some pics during a break in it. and then took some pics today at the local mud hole.

been bumming around Choccolocco the last couple of days. doing hill climbs some rocks and found some mud. here are a few stills from some video that was taken. and a quick video i threw together.

well we had some gnarly ice yesterday and i had to get down to jacksonville so i loaded up and threw some sand bags in the back. had 8 recoveries on my way. what was normally an hour trip took over 2 hours. with the first hour just going around 10 miles.

the hankooks did ALOT better on the ice than i was expecting. here are some pics after i got to jville and most of the ice had melted off. at one point i had over an inch on the hilift on the hood. and my entire headlights were covered flat with the grill.

had some snow on christmas day just now getting the pic up.

as you can see ive ditched the rack up top. my gas mileage has gone up a good bit. also for chistmas i got some safari straps cargo net. and a PSC evap skid plate.

heres some shot of my interior setup minus the GPS and my storage box that goes in the back for the rest of my recovery gear and bigger tools. i keep a snatch strap and tool bag in the rear cubby. and my winch controller on the tailgate.

also made some windshield light brackets out of some scrap steel strap i had in the shop a while back.

and added some black reflective stickers

been awhile since i updated. ive added a tuffy concealed carry drawer and added some bungee cord in convenient places as well as some 550 cord and a "clothes hanger" over the back seat

only have have pics of the tuffy drawer

plenty of room for a HK USP .40 and a sig P250SC
