I just got my new J.W Speaker Evolution J and was blown away by the light output. Worth every cent and legal in Australia.

How do you make just the top surround come on by itself?

Do you mean the top LED light, which is DLR / Front position light? It's connected to the parking lights.

I think in the US you have to have the dealer flash the system for the DRL. It's not active here.

The AEV Procal module can also activate the DRL - as opposed to going to a dealer.

Ah yes, US version is different due to some legislation as far I know. Can't help you out how to do it with the DOT version unfortunately
