Fj 40 build up (Cage and springs)

The cage design and all the bending was done by me .I had some help from a friend holding the uprights in place while I tacked them together...It is nice to finally have the cage coming together.:gunt:

Nicely done. I'm glad to see that you are not using the Engle as a work bench anymore!

Will you be adding a cage section over the driver and passenger later on?

Im pretty sure i saw him bend the tubing over the Engle box to get the cages shape:yikes:
 
the front section of the cage is being test fit tonight I will post more pics as I get em done.....The engel works wonders as a work bench!HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!:safari-rig:
 
Very cool. Here is the metal tech cage on a BJ42 last summer... My first cage install, possibly one of the funner fab projects I've done...
 
Very nice 40!I honestley cannot wait till this one is done.I have always Wanted and needed the full cage protection.I am also tying the seats into the cage/into the frame.Really it wont ever be DONE!!!! :jump: :suning:

Nice Scotty, very cool design. Oh yeah, nice GPS, should help you find all the malls in San Bernardoo if somebody dosen't gank it out of your rig first, get a lid on that ****. :D :PROFSheriffHL:
