Doesn't Get Out Enough
The problem with 'Leveling Kits' is that they are mostly just spacers, and spacers are not really a suspension upgrade. However, you wanted to know, so here we go...

A popular choice to level up the front end of an FJ Cruiser is Daystar which makes poly spacers for both the front and rear of FJC for a leveling effect or a small lift in the front and rear - http://www.daystarweb.com/productli...selYear=2007&txtPartNo=&search.x=6&search.y=9

Some people aren't convinced of the durability of the poly spacers and prefer aluminum or steel spacers like you can find from ToyTec or ProComp...

ToyTec 2.5" - http://www.toyteclifts.com/index.ph...tegory_id=103&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=72

Zone Offroad has a very compelling front/rear kit (with rear shocks) for what they're asking for it - http://zoneoffroad.com/product?ki=354&gr=-1

BDS has a similar kit that 4WDToyotaOwner magazine installed on their FJC, and they like it, though it is a bit more expensive - http://bds-suspension.com/product?ma=12&mo=37&ty=1&yr=2007-2011

I wanted to level up my '08's front end as well, but I didn't just want to raise the center of gravity on the stock suspension. I got lucky and snagged a set of OME 883 front springs for some beer from an FJ Forum member nearby which should bring the front up about 1.5in on a stock FJC using the stock shocks. I haven't done it yet because I decided to upgrade the shocks to Bilstein 5100's at the same time (to handle the greater spring rate) and I haven't purchased those yet. FYI; the Bilstein 5100 front shocks have an adjustable spring perch that can be mounted in four different positions for 0"-2.5" of lift (with .85" and 1.75" in-between) so the ride height can be changed down the road. It's a nice option to have without going to full coilovers.

Those springs are available as a standalone pair from ToyTec - http://www.toyteclifts.com/index.ph...tegory_id=103&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=72

I would say the poly spacers are more for appearance than extended offroad use, but 'it is what it is' and they have been used extensively. The aluminum and steel spacers are obviously more durable, but you obviously still don't get any increased travel from your suspension. The ZoneOffroad kit is a darn good deal, but again it's 'just' a spacer in the front (so is the BDS kit). I'd go with the OME 883 springs and upgrade the shocks later.

And that's just my $.02.. or maybe that was $.05. :coffeedrink:

I leveled mine with the bilstein 5100 series. 2 notch from top of shock. Rent spring compressors from Auto zone. Googled it and was done in about 2 hours. I had never done this before but it was pretty straight forward. I am very happy with them. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys... Yeah, i am not big on the whole spacer thing.. I like the idea of replacing the springs. I dont really want to lift the truck besides just enough to level it due to gas mileage and drag and all that stuff. Plus im running stock sized tires. I have been thru the lift ringer time and time again and I think I am going to try and resist the temptation this time around.

Pm me your info and I will send you a 2 month old 1.75 daystar comfort lift kit. Bought it then put on 285 and had to go to old man emus to prevent rubbing ...

I did the same. 3rd notch from the bottom, truck sits perfectly level. Running 285/70/17 Duratracs, no rub (so far...need to get it off road).
