Ok watch the whole thing.....WHY OH WHY would they roll that FJ on purpose? I understand there may have been a safety issue with driving it down the dune in front wheel drive only, but what a damn waste!!

Ewin and Charley should take note as to how to make a proper adventure series. LWR was great LWD blew and LWU I hope will bring them back to their roots.

Other than that what a great show!!!!

Yeh, funny you say that, because this was a totally different sort of adventure.

It was a lot of fun helping with this shoot. We are writing an article right now on the whole experience. Both LT and I were down there in October, I did the first three weeks and LT did the last week with our time overlapping with the big build in La Paz. Working in an open air workshop at 12,400' doing a spring over with minimum tools, and pulling it off in 24hrs is not easy! Still would do it again. (I drove a 2010 Hilux on the Death Road for peats sake!) :victory:

Do a search on youtube.com It was all on there a week or so back when I watched it. What I can see is that it only proves that buying a vehicle "sight-unseen" in the developing world is a crap shoot. It might be fine and it might be beat. In this case I think the FJ40 is beat and the 'Zuki is probably the best of the bunch.

The mod's they did at the 1/2 way point were totally unnecessary in my opinion.
