Fleetwood Neon Modified for off road

No spare--I run the exact same wheel/hub/tire/brakes as my Defender so I just carry the Defender spare, a compressor and a repair kit. I feel confident with just that as I have been wheeling for 20 years and only had a couple flats. After several years towing the trailer, I have never had a flat. I also keep my tires more than up to snuff--I have diaphragmatic paralysis so I can't afford to break down so I spend a little more keeping my ******** top-notch (and slightly overbuilt).

Here is how I mounted the propane tanks. Works great. Got the rings off amazon and welded a tube vertically to the trailer chassis.

I like the double propane tank set up. IMG_3141.jpgHere is my set up on the front of my Neon to hold a dirt bike. It is pretty secure on there.

Wow! That is one big box. What's the weight on that? Empty? Full?

Are you worried at all about fishtailing/denting the car?

As for no spare...for those of you with the original tires...I have had exactly one flat tire in rural Utah and no cell service. I was really glad I had a spare!

The tongue box is all aluminum, full width (I believe 59") and weighs 45lbs so pretty light. The batteries inside each weight about 79lbs x 2 and then I have various other stuff (the batteries are riding on their own frame reinforced to the chassis, of course) so total of the box and batteries is about 235lbs full.

I am not worried at all about fishtailing. I can't go a full 90 degrees, but I can get close in theory but in reality I have never gotten close or worried about it.

As for a spare, I definitely do have one--but one for the truck and trailer. I am a pretty seasoned off-roader and fixing spares on a trail is typically within my ability and I carry the tools to do such a task. I would never go completely spare-less. I may be moving to 35's but just on the truck... and I would consider making a rack for the back of the trailer to keep the 33's on it.

I came across this thread I was curious how the actuator is working out? I'm getting ready to swap my neon onto a M116a3 Trailer and was looking for better options for raising the roof.
