I have an old style Flip Pac for sale. This older style has the two back doors that open. Started to refurbish it 3 yrs ago. Painted it with Awl Grip polyester paint -Mateo Wheat- A yellow color, took the tent out and had new zippers and screens put in. Repaired one hinge assembly, other side still broken. Completely cut out the fiberglass inside the lid/ bed and placed core foam material in place of plywood. Core foam will never rot and is stronger than plywood when sandwiched between fiberglass. Tore out old carpet on the walls and replaced it with indoor out door boat carpet (gray). Needs crank to open the tent. The inside of the crank got reemed out over the years. Other than that, it's still a very good Flip Pac. It is located in Corpus Christi, Texas.
$400.00 as is, you finish the restoration. Not much needed except, new crank, one hinge assembly to be replaced, and small crack in the fiberglass around the broken hinge assembly. I've seen a blog on here where this guy completely gutted out a Flip Pac and is rebuilding it. So I know there are some ambitious individuals who could easily fix this one up. I got myself a small Wildernest, so I dont need the Flip Pac any longer. Bill.
