Well, I have been having issues with my rear suspension since the trophy... I found the culprit! Off to Deaver tomorrow to get them fixed:
In the words of a friend, "that would be a Negative Performance Feature!"
Good catch!

"It's just a flesh wound."

I'll remember that line next time you cut yourself with a steak knife at Teakwoods!

At least we got to use the first aid kit in the Xterra... it has the goofy bump in the rear hatch for a reason.

Well, the guys a Deaver are great. Had the springs into them at 07:30 and they were ready shortly after lunch. While they were playing with them I had them add another leaf to make it an 11 pack.

While under the truck I also replaced the shocks to Bilstein 5125's
Part #s: BE5-6253 (pas) and BE5-6252 (Driver)

Now rides like a champ!

While taking the springs off after work, I was walking the rear up using the high-lift and CRASH! Yeah forgot to block the front tires. Yeah it could have been real bad, but the only damage was to the poor e-locker harness which got its wires ripped out. Should be able to fix that over the weekend.

REMINDER TO BLOCK WHEELS!!!

LOL

Thanks to F'n Mark for helping put the springs on last night to get able to drive to work today!:Mechanic:

Glad no one was injured :smilies27

Post a pick or two of the new leaf pack. I remember that before the recent work they were almost completely parallel to the ground.

Glad it's riding better now.

You've done a lot of work on the truck recently, especially for having recently recovered from the plague.
