It is the "right to keep and bear arms". Why do you think there is a distinction between "keeping" and "bearing"? A synonym of "bearing" is "carrying". Please argue that.

Freedomrider, sorry if your are insulted. I thought I was merely stating a fact. It's the typical interwebz argument, nobody is gonna change anybody's minds. Fortunately, I have the law on my side, as well as my morality, so I don't have a need to change any minds. It was fun while it lasted, but a zillion circles on the merry-go-round makes one dizzy. I simply take issue with trolls who attempt to infringe on the RIGHTS of others just because you may feel something doesn't fit into your little bubble of what's "right".

Hardly. If someone chooses to ignore the blatant, case-law-supported fact that it's a privilege, not a Constitutional right, then they're in for a rude awakening one day.
How are you inferring that? You have no god given right to open carry. You have a right to bear arms.
