Sometimes people write that the expedition has poor ground clearance. But that's just due to the optional running boards. I have the only expedition I've ever seen without running boards.
My stock air system lifts the truck about 2" when shifted to low range.
From the A pillar forward my '97 is supposedly identical to the F150.
You know the third row is easily removable and leaves a flat floor? After about '03 it can be folded into a well. Suburbans of this era got better gas mileage with a somewhat smaller engine. My only complaint is gas mileage.
