Time for an update on the plow truck. We did all new front brakes last night, and I also painted the rims, put some $5 side mirrors on, and used a color matched rattle can to cover a few of the ugly primer spots. So far, I think I am into it for $340 +/- including the $1 purchase price. I have to throw in the master cylinder that came with it, and then bleed the new lines and callipers. If I have brakes, I might splurge and install the new $8 wiper blades. The goal is to get it driving, and then weld up the plow frame. I hope to be all done for $600. That is the cost for a winters worth of snow removal here. It will also allow me to leave the camper on my Dodge full time, which equals a whole lot more camping trips.

That's a nice looking rig. I always liked that body style.

Thanks! It's way more solid than I expected. I just hope I can get it finished before the snow and salt start flying!

Trucks looks good I'm excited about the future of mine. I just got a 2013 f150 xlt 4x4 screw 5.0 about 4 months ago and have a little under 2,000 on it so far. I am patiently saving up for a camper shell (so expensive) and then level/tires will come after. I came over from a 2001 nissan pathfinder 4x4 that I had lifted with 33's so this is a nice change, tons of room and a smoother ride!

Hey DT,
What lift are you running?

Im running a stock f-350 rear block with a 2" add a leaf....in front im running f350 snow plow prep springs, and tuff country mini pack and drop track bar..rides good on the road but over sprung in front off road. At first I was running 33" tires..so the snow plow springs and f350 block were perfect, truck sat level and road good. when I went to 35's I needed a lil more lift due to the breakover on the CC.
running monroe gas magnums in front and ICON rear shocks which are good quality and rebuildable. I like the mini packs up front but wish I went with softer front main springs. the rear sits around 1" high so I could have went with the 1-1.5" rear add leaf. went with the heavy fronts for the winch and bumper

nice 250 I would like to do the mirror mod too

The mirrors were a fantastic upgrade fron the stock ones. the only thing not hooked up is the heat. they only took an hour to mount and the power was plug and play, took around another hour to run the turn and marker light.
If you get the ebay ones(knock offs but very reasonable) the lil plastic covers that mount on top or the mirriors should be superglued in...ask me how Iknow..LOL

Dirty, nice looking truck. What are the plans for it?

Thank you .I am looking for a basket for the top. I have a water setup just need to install it. I also am going to
install a hidden 12k winch from TC. On board air . New tires and rims. Extra battery.
Waiting for Fusion to start mass production on their bumpers.
There are not a lot of choices for bumpers for the New Fords unless it is a Raptor.

Check out RCI for new F150 armor. ADD off-road has some nice bumpers for these trucks but they are pricey. I just picked up a similar truck and will be going through the same process as you. Look forward to seeing ur progres.
