What a great group of people. Since 2010 they've raised 750,000 pounds for wounded soldiers.
And the hosts at Altrock Park were, as always, friendly and accomodating hosts.

Here's a few pics of my truck and our group- sadly mostly jeeps...

That is a nice setup....but man would that look much better on a 1996 or older body!!!
That round body just killed the F150 brand!!
But other than that I like it.

Mykdee - I think, in reality the body didn't hurt F150 sales at all. But I do know what you mean... I looked at several nice box nose Fords, but the singular reason I bought this one was because of the suicide door acces to the back seat area, which we use for storage of big items.
Every vehicle purchase is a comprimise...

Very Nice! Any picks of the camper, inside? How's it set up? What's the weight of the camper? Like the boxes below too. Personal tastes aside, that body style outsold the previous late 90's, I prefer '99-04 or so, but then I admit my bias. :wings:

Ozarker, follow the link to the 2 build threads in my sig block, there are more pics in those. The camper is a one peice fiberglass design, like a boat. Weighs about 1000lbs empty.

Wow, thanks, that is a really nice rig! Best of all, you're using it!!! I've been at Point Du Hoc, it's a must go to for Military types on leave in Europe, you get a feeling of what went on along the beach and touching the bunkers. Enjoy it over there! Again, really nice set up you have there. :coffeedrink:

I've got a 01 SuperDuty with the 7.3L Powerstroke. Awesome truck and gets fantastic mileage on the freeway. It's a 2WD but can tow a house if I need to.

Here is my full size. Nothing fancy, no lift, just plain jane. Does have full exhaust and superchips and drop in air filter. With the bedrug, we move our gear to the top and sleep under the platform. Perfect for truck camping and lighter trails. If the trails are technical we take the rubi and tent sleep.

It's more or less done. Got it anchored good- cleaned- and fresh decals. It also got the front corners built up and a couple extra latches. There's plenty else- but that's what the build thread is for.
