Hi Kaiser, I have read a number of your posts on the FRF, you have been a great source of information.
Glad I could help!
I have a bedrug with a bakflip. My recovery gear is stored in a Home Depot 20 gallon power pak, Camping equipment, compressor and odds and ends are in a 48 gallon Rubbermaid Action Packer Cargo Box, and two gear bags. Everything is secured with Highland 10' Retractable Ratchet Tie Downs, Hi jack is mounted on rear of the bed with QuickFist Clamps. I still have plenty of room in the bed and rear seats. I am just starting out with acquiring gear and have yet to do any extended trips. My favorite thing I have purchased so far is this Mini Alcohol Stove. Love simple effective things.
That sounds similar to what I am aiming for. I installed some cargo rails to strap down action packers.

Yeah i am trying to figure out wth im going to do with the bed, if i should keep the leer on it or if i should maybe do a bedcage+storage+spare+pop up tent?

To many damn options when there are no real bolt in options... :(

What are you guys doing for the rear? My goal is to get it setup to do regional/US based EXPO and then move it over to something a bit longer (like central/south America). So i dont want to go to far down one path to end up redoing it all over again.

Unless the burner is stuffed with fibreglass, not recommended those don't like cold weather, those jets are too big. Try twice as many jets that are twice as small. Also you can make the center opening 1/4" smaller in diameter and still get quick start-ups.

I can get a pic if you want.

I use a MSR Ti pot and a ring of sheet metal with 6 holes for coat hanger rods to hold my pot up over the stove. My Pepsi can stove is the only cook stove that has never failed me. The Cobra stoves are handy if you just need to boil with shorter run times.

Nice to see some familiar faces on here!! I figured if Kaiser M715 is here, then this is a good place for information!!!

No, I can't open the bakflip (or just a bit), that's pretty annoying indeed  I managed to put our camping gear and stuff in containers, which I had to push and pull at every camp. That's why for this year I'm gonna invest in the ARB drawers (I like their roller floor for my fridge, and roller drawer too - I'm planning on installing the longer ones 1m35=53+in.)
Regarding the rack, I investigated a few other solutions, see this post, but ended up with the custom rack as my best answer:

And yes, you should go and visit Canyon de Chelly, you can hire a guide to drive with your own car inside the canyon (at low speed), see by yourself the 2 picts attached...

I just fully packed up for an overnight trip to the pine barrens. Plan on getting up early and exploring the ghost towns out there. Still have over half the bed left after packing in a 48 gallon and 20 gallon trunks full of recovery and camping equipment, 5 gallon gas tank, hi-jack is hidden in the back.
