I think we may get a break in Canada sometimes on price . if they marked up the US prices by the exchange rate no one could afford to buy stuff. I am picking up a new F250 Reg cab 8 foot box this morning . It has the snow plow -camper combo package . this thing is a beast ,can't believe how heavily built it is .even has the E lock rear end . As a retired guy I can't imagine how I could need more truck then this . 41 K plus tax Are the kidney comments because you need to sell one to afford to buy or because the truck may pound the kidneys out of you ?

If I were going into retirement now, I’m with you—I’d not get a Tremor because all I’d want is a reg or super cab, 4wd/fx4 pkg, and a light slide in camper. I’d prob go for the 7.3 though.

That’s not a tremor
No it is not a Tremor and it is a gas job . I guess I am just saying the truck is specked out to be used as a heavy duty plow with a slide in sander unit . these packages put it in between a 250 and 350 in load carrying capacity . I know you guys are after max off road ability and I was looking for dependable and I can't break it . some of the same things but not the same . Guess I was just happy about getting a new truck ,big leap for me . but off topic sorry for that

I've been looking at these, but at this time it is only an option for the shortbed and I am looking for the 8' bed. Otherwise I would probably be in the market for one.

Should be perfect. I really don’t need a tremor package. 8’ bed and single cab would Suit me fine.

Does anyone know if you order one online or build your own or whatever, does your local dealer have to honor that price or do they still get to slap you in the face with a mark up?

I don't think you can actually submit an order online. You still have to go to a dealership to fill out an order. That's where you negotiate the price.

I'm hoping you're not willing to pay MSRP. This isn't a Toyota. You should be able to get some sort of discount.

My buddy has friends who works at the local chevy dealer he said there are actually people who come in and buy cars for MSRP without any negotiation just pick out a car and buy it. Scary thing is those same people vote lol.

haha yeah right! I'd never pay MSRP. I was more so just wondering. My wife is a lawyer and her and I play a nasty game at dealerships.

Yeah...my sister and cousin are perfect examples. "ok that monthly payment is in my budget, I'll take it"

It looks like the 48 gallon fuel tank is only on the crew cab chassis.

I tried to confirm this...it looks to me like the 48 gallon tank is only available on the long bed crew cab or the 176" wheel base truck. I could not find any definite answer if it is available on any lower wheel base.
