Forest River Wolf Pup on a flatbed ????

I was thinking about moving from a truck camper and a trailer for my motorcycle / ATV and going to a toy hauler. Months of research brought me to a 17', Forest Rive "Wolf Pup"

17' long
3019 pounds
85" wide
78" high

The rear drop down tailgate would make a great deck or screen room.

The narrow width would make it a bit more maneuverable.

The weight wouldn't be an issue on most flatbeds

The standard "window" type AC can be run on a small generator (Honda 2000)

I looked at one in person yesterday and was quite impress. It is small, but the open area in the rear makes it seem much bigger than it is.

Would 17' be too long for a flatbed......Thinking FUSO.....Comments?

Around $12K depending on options.

Looks like a winner. What type of construction does it have?

I'd bet its not very good. 2x2 lumber and aluminum skin stapled on is industry standard.

I've often thought about doing something similar with a 16' Airstream on a 4x4 flatdeck.

Look into a carson rebel. They are 14' long and 7' Wide. New they are about 13k. Last year i bought an 08 for 7,200. I had it for about a year and decided I didn't want to pull a trailer.
