I agree with screwball48 above. I own a Crosstrek and know many people with Foresters. Both are great cars. But the Forester has a larger cargo area and a taller roofline so you also have much more vertical room for taller items. However, I will say my Crosstrek has more than enough room for everything I’ve stuffed in it. Main draw of the Crosstrek for me was slightly smaller overall size, more sporty look, and cheaper price. Btw I have the Premium model without the sunroof (I agree they are pointless). So they do exist at least for the Crosstrek.
