It's hard to tell from the pics how big the FC is. I was crawling under/around it this past weekend. It's TALL. I'm 5'9" and couldn't see into the windows even on my tip toes.

And to add a little Jeep Porn and Lust to the read- I was able to find both of these on an indepth search!

The Crew Cab and the Utility Van or Bus:

If Jeep would ever build this or if another company would build a kit, I would have one in an instant and would be done vehicle shopping. Not sure I ever thought that about anything before. I love this set up.

I would take this one with a large/extra long Maggiolina Airlander on top of it.

I am no Jeep fan but I got to say this is one of not only the 4wd markets concepts in many years but also Jeeps that I actually like.

A forward cab gives superior viability. Approach angle is also very good, hard to match in a normal vehicle without pushing the front axle very far forward.

I think the price tag on this out the door for a base model would be in the $100,000 range so that really kills it for marketing to any but those who can afford $100k toys. What I also thinks kills it is having to climb over the tire and fender to get in the truck. It doesn't seem like they took this into account when designing it. The bed and tire storage I do not like. To much wasted space. Any portal axle'ed truck will be tall though, that is just the nature of the beast.

I would love to see specs on it. Ya know, GVW, wheelbase, tranny, engine, t-case, wheel travel, ect.

Tire size appears to be 39x13.5R17.

I would be all about it even without the portal axles... and would probably rig us some easy entry steps or ladder rungs for entry, etc...

Would be fun getting the little one's car seat in and out. Would definitely have to look into a RTT for over the bed.

This thread contains entirely too much awesomeness. And then I remember none of it is real... except for a concept. A CONCEPT. I'm going to shut down my computer now and drink away the pain of reality.
