Uhauler that srw box van looks interesting. I was just thinking of how to convert a box van to a camper, but keep the ability to open the rear door. Maybe remove the standard roll-up door and add barn doors?

Not sure I'm sold on this conversion that totally seals off the back. It needs insulation. And some ventilation. Pass. side door? Going in and out through the pass-through can get old quick.

Eporter, my friend Tom has an older one, a 99 I think. He did a basic conversion. Another friend bought a real clean 99 also, his is set up for dirtbikes and his construction business. The previous owner(another friend) made a one piece rear door out of aluminum with carbon fiber sheet that hinged at the top to serve as an awning . I would have bought this van if Roy didn't want it.

Uhauler that hinge-up back door/awning sounds perfect. Maybe with a front pass through just in-case you got blocked in by a vehicle/tree/whatever.

Also interesting w/ these box trucks are the different lengths on the box. Also the attic over the cab would be nice.

Here's another nice looking ex-uhaul van w/ 10' box:
