I have a 2005 Chevrolet Express AWD with 107,000 that I have loved and cared for since 2017 when I bought it with 57,000 miles on it. I went through the whole van and did a baseline of all maintenance items. It is basically stock.
Details:
- Located in Maryland 20878
- This has been our camping, beach vehicle
- gets sprayed with Krown rust preventative yearly, minimal surface rust underneath
- G80 locker
- sandstone metallic
- grey interior that is complete and in good shape for a 19 year old vehicle
- strong motor with frequent oil changes
- strong transmission, had the fluid tested by blackstone back in 2017 when I bought it and was perfect, can provide report, did a drain and fill with new filter at around 75,000 miles
- G80 locker has never been abused, I drive the van in sand only, never offroad or wheeled with the van, no burnouts or rock crawling
I was recently rear ended and the van will be totaled by the insurance company. As you can see by the pics, it will need rear doors, bumper, quarter panel. What will total the van out is the bent frame. It is the passenger side rear part of the frame, you can see the bend in the pics below.
Myself and the previous owner have really taken care of this van and I hate to see it go to the scraper. My hope is that someone with the time and resources can fix this and continue to enjoy it like I have.
I am still in the process of working this out with the insurance company so I don't have a price yet. It will obviously sell for well below market value.
I am looking for a replacement now and can tell you the availability of these all wheel drive unicorns is scarce. I plan to replace it with the exact same make and model. This van has been excellent to us and we hate to see it go.
If you are interested in this van contact me and we can discuss.
