If you are interested I have a 2011 ford e450 v10 van with 50,000 miles. The transmission is perfect. If you need the transmission I will let you have it for cheap. I bought it to front in conversion on my 2001 7.3 conversion van but never started the project. My pics are too large to post

I am in Chesapeake/VA Beach VA.

Not interested in parts. FYI: that’s the wrong transmission.

The E in E150,E250,E350,E450, and E550....
All stand for Econoline Van. From 1992 - 2015 the bones are mainly the same.


The same power train is compatible across multiple E-series vans and often times several years. Of course I have no idea what his 2011 daily driver is

2000 Ford E350 7.3 High Roof Conversion Van

Rare High Roof 7.3 powerstroke E350 conversion van for $6500.00 advertised higher locally

I searched for this van for 4 years. I have only seen 2 7.3 Highroof Conversion vans inperson in almost 20 years of owning 7.3 diesels.

1994 Toyota HiAce 4x4 Turbo Diesel Camper Van

RHD Fully self contained Camper with Shower Toilet, cooking areas etc. Rear Sleeps 4 adults comfortably. Could do 6 if you're really friendly.

Standing head room is roughly 6'8"

Five-speed manual transmission.

Easily travels at highway speeds and can lead traffic if desired.

I think you've posted this previously - remind me how many miles it has? /Any recent service records for it? i have a family member that is interested in something like this on the east coast.

I found these on my phone

Only selling because I don't use it but I don't really want to sell it. I know that doesn't make sense but I have almost 50 vehicles and this is making its way future down the keep it list.

Recent synthetic oil change and transmission fluid change.

I started putting an LED TV in it in place of the original tube tv but haven't finished. Comes with 20" LED TV and the original if someone wants it.

It has a Double Din Android radio with nav, youtube, you, etc. Setup to play video all the time. I can take business calls over the engine without background noise.

Has odbdii reader with small panel that provides generic information and faults.

Has all the conversion van interior lighting constant with the 80/90/00 conversion vans. I replaced most of the bulbs with LEDs.

Once I get everything out of it I will post pictures of the interior. My plan was to make a family hauler but the kids are in college and we rarely travel within driving distance.

Wow that chassis cab seems like a good deal with the low miles and 4x4. Bolt on your dream camper/ambo box/whatever and you’re good to go.

FYI. The seller is a member and it is posted on the for sale site also. If it was the V10 gas I would be more interested. What do people think of the 6.0 diesels. From what I can tell, it would still need to be “bullet proofed”, and still needs ULSD. Would love first hand experience with them especially in a van as there are differences. I have read all the forums I can find.

What do people think of them? Oh boy, you need to do some research. There are two kinds of 6.uh-oh owners.

First, people who have an already expensive rig unfortunate enough to have this powerplant and they've spent $10k to make it as reliable as it should've been from the start. These people swear by them, can't be swayed, it's the best thing ever. I wonder why they think this way? Hmmmmm.

Second, old fleet trucks that get rode hard and put up wet and inexplicably run 200k with no maintenance. This is 5 out of every 100,00 6.uh-oh's but it's enough to really drive the first ones I mentioned out of their minds.

He asked for “first hand experience”. If youre the kind of person that fixes things yourself, the cost of the parts to bulletproof are more like $4k last I looked.

Not trying to split hairs here Mike but first hand experience doesn't necessarily mean DIY experience. I took it as anyone who has dealt with it themselves, not necessarily done it themselves. Still, I would put the people who go in to their own 6.0 diesels as probably 5% of owners at the most. They are overly complex, most people are scared of them and for good reason. I do a lot of my own work but not interested in going in to one of those from what I've seen.

I'll bow out. It's not hard to find people with firsthand experience with 6.0's, and few of them have good stories to share.

I would not be doing the mechanical work myself. Seller told me it didn’t need to be bulletproof, but from what I read it does. He also told me it had no emissions, but he said he meant no DEF fluid.

That is the link to his add. Right now on page 6 of vehicles for sale by expo members. People keep saying build your dream camper, but nobody has. I can do all the camper build myself.
I’m also a little nervous because I’ve emailed advanced 4x4 and called twice and haven’t heard anything. I have read they do good work, but getting part numbers can be an issue.
Chris at UJOR said don’t get the 6.0 when I was thinking of the ‘new’ ones in Canada vs a v10 gas.
I like the idea of diesel range especially with a 55 gallon fuel tank. Although I really would like to have a new 7.3 gas, but that is out of my budget.
so I would like to hear from someone that has a 6.0 van. I would also be interested in hearing what people think this is worth.
