Louis,

Where did you get these? These look, if they're the right diameter, like they might be very useful for attaching items to my Yakima Load Warrior. Do you have a URL that you could share?

BTW, this has been a great truck thread and a careful, thoughtful build-up.

Ehhh Tony!!!

The brackets are great and held up very well bouncing all over Death Valley. More specifically you can find them here.

Phil, I'm not sure how you missed it... glad you made it!

Thanks for the compliments.

Was that supposed to read with your favorite New Jersey or Bronx accent? :p You know what Tony stands for, right? To: NY

Thanks for sending the exact link; I was having trouble finding them. I'm seeing some possibilities here.

Yeah, I remembered that it could be a pain if you didn't know exactly where to look.

They are a great for several applications and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase more.

Another option is
http://www.fourtreks.com/
They have the correct diameter for SD racks and do a High Lift Mount alonf with various other options.

Yeah, they are very well built also... I wanted a mount that kept the items as close to the truck as possible and also weren't so shiny.

Sprayed mine "rattle can" Black, the mounts also work on the EE fuel can carrier for a SD rack

FourBy,

just wanted to chime in a compliment you on your disco. you build has come along very nicely! i love the color of your truck and it looks good with the black. most remove the flares but i think, especially on your truck, the black flares tie the front bumper to rails, to the rear bumper, it fits nicely! i've read the entire thread, it's been great.

couple of questions:

what did you paint your GD rear bumper with to match the RTE sliders/ft bumper? i can't wait to get mine on.

what are you doing for back up lights?

This is the http://www.fourtreks.com/ mount used for the High Lift and the EE Jerry can carrier mounted to a SD rack. I am considering mounting a second for those longer trips - I use a super siphon with a longer tube so I can refuel without having to remove the fuel cans.
