What made you decide to do it from the top rather than go in from the bottom? Just wondering, that's all. Looks like you did a great job. What did you use to put it all back together?

Thanks Steven, I went in from the top because everything was within reach from that point, I used all of the parts That came with it except for the bracket to the Hi-Lo selector I had to drop down to a 6mm bolt with locking nut, bolted it all up made a few adjustments and she was ready to go.

Your tuck is really coming along Louis. It seems your walking that fine line between daily driver and out back traveler. Keep it up.:Mechanic:

Thanks guys, I am slowly building trying to do it the right way, making preparations for longer trips offroad, I felt like it was a smart decision and went together really well... it's nice to see all those extra lights come on and confirm it's real 4wheel drive now.

Louise, don't know how I've missed this thread but just caught up. Your disco is coming together nicely, I really like the way you are setting it up! :REOutArchery02:

Nice Disco Louis

Looking at the photos of the CDL did you fit the arrangement designed for the DII or did you use the DI arrangement?

I can recommend fitting a rear ARB air locker, along with the CDL it has made a huge difference to how my vehicle performs on sand and gives me a mazing control when tackling steep rocky gravelly trails in the Oman mountains
