I ended up passing on the 37s. They were 13.5" wide, and they had a 20x10 wheels wit 4.5" backspacing. They'd be sticking out 3-4" past the fenders, and I decided that was just a bit too much. The price was right though, and it would have looked so amazing.

I ended up getting some 18x9 fuel mavericks on cooper ST Maxx 305/70r18s. Load E. I've had lots of different tires, and the cooper st maxxs are far and ahead my favorite, especially in winter conditions. Second place was a BFG KO2.

I'm working on installing the front axle this weekend.

I'm stuck at the front crossmember trimming. I think it's already been trimmed by the previous owner, but I want to verify they trimmed it enough.

So, for those of you out there with a ujor swapped van, how tall is your front crossmember in the middle?

I had the same thing on my van. Thought mine was not trimmed only to find out it was. They did a good job and made it look oem. I did have to move some brakes lines a bit to make sure they weren't in the way. As of now...it looks like it will work but I still need to do some work before the first test drive.

Do you think the diff is going to clear?

Agreed, they made it look factory. It looks like they trimmed the middle down just fine, but the end near the track bar mount isn't trimmed. I think I'm just going to trim the side so I don't have to do it later with the axle in there.

You've done a great job with the info on your site Chris. I was having a tough time piecing everything together in my head, but now that it's in front of me it makes a lot more sense.

which video/blog post should I read/watch to learn why yall decided to sell your home? Since you said your landlord is letting you use the pad, I assume you are renting now?

Yup, we're renting now until we hit the road full-time (hopefully in a few months). We still need to do a summary video of our life direction. That's coming eventually. Basically, we bought a big house with the hopes to have a big family and fill it. Well, 7 years later, we're not able to have children, so it felt wasteful to live in such a huge house on a big lot. The more we went camping, the more I realized how much I enjoy the simple life.

Why I chose to live a more minimalist life (your question is answered around 8:40):

Our latest status update and how close we are to our goal:

Our blog is on our website at http://themoreweexplore.com. There's a lot of content there, and I need to do a better job at organizing it. The van build is my #1 priority at the moment, but the website is next on the priority list.
