The ARB is certainly a high quality bumper, and worth the money if you get it at a decent price. But I wouldnt venture around http://www.offroadfabnet.com/ making superior quality statements. There are plenty of custom fab guys here in the states who take great pride in their work. Their artistic eye and attention to detail outweighs any factory built bumper. But yes, there are also a lot of yahoos trying to sell crap as a custom fab job.

True enough on what you said about local fabricators. There are lots of good guys out there who could do an outstanding job. A good fabricator could also customize some nice features that would not be available on a factory bumper like an ARB. My guess is that a custom setup similar to an ARB, however, would get pricy pretty quick and would approach the cost of an ARB before it was all said and done. For out-of-the-box convenience its hard to beat ARB, Shrockworks, etc. But you're right, there are some truly talented people out there in little shops all across the country who do some fantastic work, and if you want something special it's the way to go.

Anyone know how hard it would be to fit the 95-97 to the 98-04?

as far as i know, the only difference is the length of the frame horns. it required i cut mine off for mine, but if you had to, you could always reweld a new end cap on, which i did, although not necessary. not sure about the t-15's but the t-17's do not mount to the end cap like an arb. i have a t-17, and would bet i could make it fit on another year truck. the mounting points are the same, utilizing the holes for the hold down/toe hook underneath, and the stock body mount/bumper bracket location.

do you guys know any reinforcement that could protect my bumper winch? im afraid the build is kinda creaky and it might fall off with too much weight.
