Guys,

(SOLD)

We're about an hour away from commiting to a Snow Peak set up so I thought I would put this up for sale.

Partner Steel 2 Burner Stove with windscreen.Special length of 22" (over the smaller 16" and 18" models on their website http://www.partnersteel.com/?prod01. This length is what they should have been all along, large enough for two large pots even with the windscreen up. Modifications: Due to the mild complaint that the bars were too far apart, I had them insert two more at the factory.
Basically this is the perfect Partner Steel stove in excellent condition. It has been used for about 10 days in total!

Included:
22" Stove
Gas Line

Here are photos from when I bought it. It looks the same now.

You can see the extra width in this one (Le Creuset not included :p) and the extra bars

I'll take it, I have been drooling over your stove trying to get up my courage to order one. I have one question, what made you decide to go Snowpeak over the Partner Steel?

To be honest, when I woke up this morning, I had no intention of getting a totally new kitchen set up! It makes sense for us as we don't have a BBQ at home, we love the idea of a 'Korean Style' cooking where everyone cooks their own meat and I'm blessed to be with a great cook who will really use the Snow Peak to its potential. It's spendy, but we'll get our moneys worth :)

Probably the best explaination of the spirit of the Iron Grill Table by Snow Peak is on the expeditionexchange website:

While configurability and break-down are nice, the real beauty of the IGT System is that it keeps everyone together. You eat where you cook. People don't get their food and then head back to their camp chair. Everyone stays around the IGT during cooking and eating because it's more social and fun. Camping becomes much more enjoyable for everyone. It's a beautiful thing.

Holly and I value food and cooking so much it just makes sense to us :chef:

In saying that, I already miss the Partner Stove, it's just such a great unit and will outlast us all!

Ash,

If for some reason funds fall through let me know, but in reference to the stove, I don't see a 22" version on partners website, so did you just call and custom order it? What was the process and time frame?

Thanks,

Matt

I would like to know also, its one of the reasons I went with something else. I am going soon be in need of a new stove, and this would fit the bill nicely.

Matt/James,

My version is not on their website. I just rang Bill (the PS guy who does the Stoves/Camping Stuff) at the time and through the course of talking to him I mentioned the size restrictions, which was when he pipped up and told me of the 22".

These guys are a major fab company, the camping gear is just a tiny side venture so the website is never updated. However, this also means they are often custom to order made so ask for anything you want - they'll do it! In terms of time frame, I can't recall exactly but I don't remember waiting long. Pretty sure they'll turn almost everything around in a week even if it is custom.
