Garmin world map and Mac

I am just about to leave for India-Pakistan.

I just bought a Garmin 60cx... it does have some base level coverage of India, but I was thinking of getting the worldmap. Anyone been to India and know if the worldmap upgrade is worth it?

Also, it seems like Garmin is very PC oriented. It does not say if the worldmap software is Mac compatible on the website. Anyone had any experience with it?

I'm using the Garmin 60cx for real-time navigation and it works *reasonably* well. The maps are inaccurate but will point you in the right direction, more or less.

The base map contains hardly any detail at all, I would upgrade if you plan on using it for nav purposes.
