Do you alway run premium Ryan?

Does it give you better MPG (have you tested regular)?

I know that regular gas has slightly more energy per gallon, but since premium is recommended for my V8 I'm thinking of giving it a try.

Yes, I have run premium for a couple of years. During break-in my MPG was disappointing. I'm not sure what I'd get if I switched to 87.

I read this thread:
http://www.toyota120.com/forum/showthread.php?t=957&highlight=premium+gas+long+period

and this:
http://www.lcool.org/technical/prado_high_octane_fuel.html

I'm not sure if it works, crazy to think 1.5 years ago premium was only $2.45.
