Dooo it! Perhaps some side lighting? Rock lights?

As you can see from this pic (I'm on the right) I pretty much have lights dialed in, but I want more!

Just jumped in.

Ordered a 30" lightbar for my Tacoma, and a set of Aeros for my XR650L.

Thanks for setting up the GB!

I haven't even received my lights yet and I'm already very impressed with the customer service from Trail Duty and Alien lights!!!

I just received an email advising there was a Very minor issue with some of the lights and they offered to send a prepaid shipping label to return the lights so they can be fixed or send me the parts to do it myself which was my option. To top it off they offered an additional discount on all my future Alien lights purchase! Big Gold Star to those guys!

Cheers,
Mr. D

I just received that email too and I'm doing the same option as you.

Now I'm happy I missed the group buy to order another set of lights!

Figured I would post my progress...;)

.

Almost finished mounting my lighting! Right now the count is the following:

30" and (2) Dually D2 lights on the bumper
40" for roof lighting
(2) 10" for Alley Lights
(2) 6" for backups (they are not mounted yet)

Made these (I1) and bought these (I2) to mount the 40" on the Gobi

That's a lot of lights! Planning on going Troll hunting?

I'm curious about a couple things in your setup.

Does your roof bar reflects badly on your hood? (Probably not, seeing how far back it's mounted)
If your front bar is already on (I have the same bar, same location and its already a lot of light!) then you turn on your roof bar, does it make that much of a difference?

In any case, no more excuse for you to run into things at night...
;-)

You never know about them trolls!

The old roof light setup consisted of 4 hid kc daylighters. They were hung much closer to the front of the roof, hence the bedlined roof. With the new bar up top, it sends out more than twice the amount of light than the 30". I'm wiring the 30" to my brights and the two d2s I actually use as driving lights for daily use. I will only activate the 40" when I'm out in the middle of nowhere and I need some light. Mainly the 40" just makes the spread higher and longer, but the 30" does a great job on its own. I don't get terrible roof glare being that the bottom row doesn't clear the rack until the front of the truck. It works out perfectly.

Has anyone had problems with their lights? I have a 40" that I purchased through the GB and it just quite on me last weekend on a trip to Death Valley.

I haven't had any problems. Have you contacted the place we bought it from? Is it not a lifetime warranty?

I have not contacted Trail Duty yet. It seems they do not carry Alien anymore. But yes, that was my next step.
