Some yeas ago I came across this German publication devoted to the Mercedes-Benz Gelaende Wagen, which I find delightful in terms of expedition content and G-Wagen insights. It was all written in German by the G-Wagen Club based in Radolfzell (German southern border near Bern, Switzerland).

Publication apparently started in 1987 and ended around 2003, it seems that 4 issues were printed per year. If someone has more information about publication of the magazine it would be interesting to know.

At the time I found about the magazine a lot of the original issues were available for download from their webpage, which still exists and now they have a publication called Mercedes-Benz Offroad. I still have a lot of the downloaded issues in PDF format and I would like to share them with the EXPO community and G-Wagen lovers.

So, I have taken the freedom to host this content in my webpage, but the links will only be available from this forum.

Enjoy.

Files are around 25mb each!

There is a new publication that has just had its first edition. It will be offered translated into English - Title: G-Wagen.

No disrespect to any publication currently in print that has been good enough to include lots of great G material intended. I have no affiliation with any publication ...

This is absolutely fantastic. It's so fun to look at the old ads and see who was making G accessories way back when. Not to mention I get to brush up on my German.

Thanks so much for this

i went back to reference something, and they are gone.

i shoulda downloaded! that'll teach me.

Several years ago they removed them also from their website for a while. So if you need a specific month-year then you better keep a copy on you computer.
