Ray, thanks for the response on the Trasharoo. I don't think mine came with that supplemental tensioner strap, and my tires are a bit bigger than yours and I just couldn't get the darn thing on.

How thick is that new front skid plate compared to the factory steel one it replaced, would it stand up to a hard hit from a rock?

Its a solid skit plate and a lot beefier than the stock for sure. Definitely more durable.

Just wanted to say great thread. Love how you started off with basic, and have moved up as your comfort level increases. Keep it up!

Great looking truck. I am jealous of your low miles. I had two green ones similar to yours.
How are those 33's working? Any rub? I am looking into some new rubber, sliders and a skid.
I too would like to know where you got that skid.

I finally opened my plasma cutter box after a year of not using it......unfortunately my 220v outlet for my welding machine is not compatible with the plasma cutter plug....nooooooo

Are there is any kind of adapter that I can get so it converts to the correct design for my plasma cutter?

I even took a day off so I can work on my rock sliders....epic FAIL WHALE.

not that you always should, but its generally easy enough to swap out the wall mounted plug. most of the 220v plugs have different styles for different amp ratings. Or using some parts sourced from a home improvement store, you can make a simple extension cord with the correct plug on it.

Thanks Mike, since my welding machine is already using a plug that matching the current wall outlet , I went ahead and grabbed another plug at home depot.

It works!
