yes that`s the reason why i like the second option better...

Today i started with the tranny oil cooler. First i cut the ac-connector off:

Then i put a connector in to fit the hoses:

The start of the mount:

First mockup:

Then the postman came and dropped this package for me:

It was may "new" (built 1969) air compressor:

Almost finished tranny cooler mount:

Finished welding and primered:

Got myself a OBDII Interface, i really like this thing:

Just remember Stein that you will need to use high pressure hoses for the tranmission cooler. Otherwise the oil will eat away at the rubber and they will explode. Hydralic hose is excellent for this purpose. Otherwise everything is looking good!

The pressure in the transmission lines is not high pressure. Fuel line will work fine.

Things that can be removed without tools from the car are designated cargo, and you don`t have to get them inspected here. So, this is what I did:

Looks like you have been doing some excellent work, as usual Stein. Tell me, what is that electrical thing you have in front of the transmission cooler? Perhaps a temperature readout device?

I don't have a clue. It was on the panel that i removed in order to install the cooler.

Thanks. I`m back from skiing now, so it`s time to get back to work...

Now I got the tach working (it was the connector on the distributor), the speedo quit working. It just always stays at 200km/h...

Is there some sensor on the gearbox or transmission that could be broken?
