GM Vehicles for International Travel

I have a 2020 (2nd Gen) Colorado in the ZR2 trim. I currently use it for exclusively domestic travel (BDR Trails). And while I don’t expect to spend months at a time traveling internationally (for now) I do want to take at least a couple of international trips at some point in my life.

While Toyotas, Fords, and Land Rovers seem to be the predominant selection of international travel, I’d like to know if anyone have taken GM vehicles overseas for international overland trips. How is parts and service availability for GM? I know Holden is an international brand by GM, but not sure how much part commonality there is, especially for the ZR2-specific parts.

Does anyone have any experience traveling internationally with a GM Overland truck?

Are we talking Baja/Canada or are we talking somewhere like Namibia?
I haven’t quite decided yet but limitations would be helpful to know. I will say that XO’s trip in the Nordic region was especially inspiring and appeals to my balance of exploration vs remoteness. And a trip through Canada will probably be my first attempt before I go anywhere overseas. At this stage I’m not sure a trip through Africa or Australia are appealing to me.
