Goverment Chevy 6500s

Has anyone seen the built up 6500 series trucks the government is using? I know they run up and down I40 in TN, they are quad cab with larger then normal tires and an huge box on the back, not sure what it is setup for. They are usually in a convoy with a 4x4 van and a RV. I keep meaning to try and get a picture of them.

Let us know what Homeland Security has to say about your pictures!

I've found that its not a good idea to snap photos of government people in any country.

I think they have something to do with drug task force, they are usually 1 color, blue, black, tan, maroon. Like I said I only see them on the interstate but they look setup for much rougher terrain.

Any chance they are Chevy / GMC TopKicks that you are seeing?

The only pics of Chevy 6500's I can find on the net are of ones used as dump trucks or other heavy movers of some kind.

Where were yuou the last 8 years... They'd probably call you a terrorist and accuse you of treason, ship you to gitmo and we'd never hear from you again... God forbid you have a beard and not be of the arian nation then they'd deny you ever existed to begin with...

As much as I hate GMproducts, I kind of like those Top Kicks cause to me they're like a mini Kenworth or whatever tractor you prefer to imagine. Did they ever make them in 4x4??? I'm picturing a SRW conv. and a custom box... kind of like a International CXT of sorts although I'd rather have the International. With GM's current troubles maybe you could convince them to get rid of one for less then you expect ;) .

Made by Monroe Truck Equipment (http://www.monroetruck.com/index.asp) for the Transformers movie. It said on the web that they were going to offer them to the public but I haven't heard of anyone buying one...

not to hi-jack, but i thought they closed "gitmo".

i think the big GM trucks are ok. ive seen a few around town, but i really dont like them or the CXT. too big for me.

I take it you weren't around NY on 9/11/01...

Any idea on the price of a 6500, not that I want one or could even afford one, because I can't......but just curious.
