My dad is looking for a GPS for work. (Real Estate Agent)
He was looking at Tom Tom or a Garmin.

Anybody have any input on a good, user friendly, street use only GPS?

I use a Garmin Nuvi (can't remember what series..) at work and I think it would be a good choice. It's easy to use and has tons of point of interest and addresses built in. It seems to be very accurate and reliable. Hope this helps...

I've been very happy w/ my Garmin C580. It has a good basemap, touch screen etc and also has the added benefit of traffic info and the ability to reroute automatically based on the traffic... pretty cool.

The 60CSx and 76Cxs are great but maybe more than what he's looking for. The Nuvi line might be a bit better as it's all graphical and snazy looking. it doesn't look like a GPS which might be a plus for him.

TomTom is good for street nav..
If he has a windows mobile pda then Iguidance is the best...also if he has any reason to run a laptop then Iguidance would work on both for the same price..

Hey

Keep me employed....Buy a Garmin NUVI! At least it's an american owned company unlike Tom Tom.
