Actually, I put relays and a fuse block in the area near the jack, while the jack is still in place. There's this pocket between the jack and the battery that is empty, at least it was on my truck? I've got a square of plexiglass to which I mount my fuse block and relays, and it slides down into that space.

I think I'm going with this idea. I'm not dumping my bottle jack just yet - as this is my daily driver.

Wrap the jack in a cloth & dump it in one of the rear storage bins.... works just as good & gives you the whole box to mount your stuff. Get yourself an Albright for the winch, there very reliable & save loads of space over the std warn relay box.

After a few weeks of not working on the rover b/c of my new born, I finally got around to finishing the wiring for the lights and remounted the front crossmember w/ RTE spacers. Not a bad morning of work. What is everyone's opinion on batteries? dual optimas or diehard platinum marine pm-1?

All is well!

I added a rear work lamp and more importantly I've just taken the truck out and used it.

Very important - where did you end up? With my 3 week old daughter - I doubt I'm going any where soon and funds are depleting, but. . . I'll always manage to sink some money in here or there. Been looking at rear work lamps myself - Hella Matador is up there as well as there double work lamp. I like the look of the Matador personally. What did you go with?

Have you installed the HiCountry rear bumper? If so, how do you like it and do you have photos?

Well - I'm doing it. I'm about to order the HiCountry Offroad rear bumper and swing out tire carrier. They are having a 40% off sale right now on all products, so its the right time to buy. I don't think I can really afford it, but at that price how can I not jump at the offer? Pics to follow once I get it and do the install. That being said I've to a rear bumper w/ G4 light guards for sale. It's in near perfect condition. $300 OBO.
